  • ​Effective May 2, 2021:  JDI Grand Lake Timber, Sussex Sawmill, St. Leonard and Kedwick have new prices.  For details click here: Mills / Prices
  • Effective May 3, 2021 to May 21, 2021:   Twin Rivers will accept deliveries only daytime:  Monday to Tuesday 6am to 4:30pm; Friday 6am to 4:00pm. ​
  • Effective March 3, 2021:  Envirem is accepting wood with the following prices:  For any Self-Loaders that have some wood roadside, we are offering $29.01/tonne.  For non Self-Loaders the price will remain at $26.10/tonne.
  • Effective March 5, 2021:  Arbec, Chaleur and Fornebu Mills are closed until further notice.
  • Effective February 26, 2021: Please be advised that effective the end of business day on February 26th, 2021 J. D. Irving, Limited will temporarily stop purchasing white pine logs at their Doaktown Sawmill and associated yards until further notice.
  • Effective February 5, 2021:  JDI Sussex - scales will be closed each day from 5:30am to 7:00am and from 5:00pm to 7:00pm until further notice.
  • Effective February 5, 2021:  Little's Lumber (Marwood) is full of Red Pine for the season.  They are not looking for any extra Red Pine Sawlogs or Studwood.  They are still buying Hemlock Sawlogs. Note from Marketing Board:  If you have inventory down, please notify us immediately.
  • Effective February 1, 2021:  Delco Forest Products closed to delivers effective immediately, until further notice.
  • Effective January 4, 2021: Devon Lumber has new delivery hours.  All roundwood deliveries will be accepted between 8:30am and 4:00pm
  • Effective November 17, 2020:  AV NACKAWIC -- Notice to ALL PRIVATE WOOD SUPPLIERS: Please be advised, AVG Group cannot accept the White original Marketing Board issued transportation Certificates. As per Forest Products Commission regulation AVG requires all suppliers to leave only the Yellow “Receiver” copy  only with a weigh bill attached. It is the suppliers responsibility to maintain the original white copy along with a copy of the weigh bill.   PLEASE NOTE:  At the request of the Marketing Board we are asking the producer/trucker to return the white copy and a copy of the weigh bill (scale slip) to the Marketing Board.
  • Effective October 27, 2020:  SBC Cedar will be accepting deliveries of shingle wood Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm.  NOTE: not accepting sawlogs until further notice.
  • Effective October 26, 2020:  JDI Sussex will temporarily stop purchasing softwood pulpwood from producers/suppliers that is not under an individual contract or a marketing board contract (i.e., no gatewood or non-contract purchases).

Expression of Interest:

The Northumberland Woodlot Owners Assoc. will be requiring the services of wood harvesting and trucking contractor(s) to carry out harvest management activities on private woodlots. The services would be required for the 2020-2021 season and on various private woodlots within the region. This is an opportunity for one full-time equivalent operation during this season with the possibility of extending for an additional year.
