Sawlog Quality:
1. Rot: 4" - 8" must be sound, no rot; 9"+ rot must not exceed 1" diameter.
2. Sweep: 4" - 6" can have a max of 2" sweep; 7"+ can have a max of 3" sweep.
3. All limbs/branches must be removed.
4. No forks/flare butts.
5. Butts straight cut.
6. No other species.
7. Dead wood ok if sound.

Fencing Quality:
1. Logs from 4” to 8” small end diameter (inside bark) may have up to 1” diameter rot. Logs greater than 8” diameter may have up to 2” diameter rot.
2. Must be delivered within 6 months of date cut (dead wood is acceptable as long as it is sound).
3. 3" minimum sweep.
4. No forks. Butt ends must be cut square & straight, notches and flares must be trimmed.
5. 6' and 8' bolts must be sorted and loaded on truck for separate scaling.

Studwood Quality:
1. Spruce/Fir only.  Min. 75% spruce, Max. 25% fir (sound wood only).
2. Delivered within 3 months of time cut.
3. No rot, no forks, ends cut square.
4. Taper or sweep must be less than 2" over the length of the bolt.
5. In any 4ft section of a bolt: not more than 12 knots 1" - 3" diameter, OR not more than 8 knots >3" diameter.
